Biltong soup

Ingredients
  

  • 80 g Butter
  • 160 g flour
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp Ground Coriander
  • 300 g Milk
  • 3 Tbsp beef / vegetable stock paste
  • 1 liter of water
  • 160 g Cheddar cheese
  • 100 g Biltong powder
  • 100 g sliced biltong
  • 80 g cream

Instructions
 

  • Grate 160g of cheddar cheese
  • Mix biltong and cheese
  • Melt butter and add the flour, at this stage put the biltong cheese and butter and flour mixture into a pot on the stove.
  • Add pepper, nutmeg, coriander, milk, water & stock paste, now cook for 15 minute
  • Serve immediately & garnish with remaining biltong slices2 tbsp butter
