Biltong soup
Ingredients
- 80 g Butter
- 160 g flour
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp Ground Coriander
- 300 g Milk
- 3 Tbsp beef / vegetable stock paste
- 1 liter of water
- 160 g Cheddar cheese
- 100 g Biltong powder
- 100 g sliced biltong
- 80 g cream
Instructions
- Grate 160g of cheddar cheese
- Mix biltong and cheese
- Melt butter and add the flour, at this stage put the biltong cheese and butter and flour mixture into a pot on the stove.
- Add pepper, nutmeg, coriander, milk, water & stock paste, now cook for 15 minute
- Serve immediately & garnish with remaining biltong slices2 tbsp butter
